This role is classified as Level 5 (annual base salary pro-rata $106,689 - $126,039) under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement. The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.

The Department
At the heart of SBS, Audio and Language Content has over 60 language teams engaging audiences in conversations on Australian and international news and current affairs, and connecting communities through stories and providing settlement information. We deliver services across radio, podcasting, online and social media.
The Role
The AI Content Project Specialist supports the practical use of AI across SBS Audio by helping teams explore, test and adopt tools that can improve content production and distribution. Working within the Planning and Development team, the role liaises with content and business support teams to trial AI technologies in real production environments and help integrate them into everyday workflows.
The role focuses on hands-on delivery â running pilots, supporting implementation, providing detailed project management, tracking and quality assurance, and ensuring adherence to the SBS Codes of Practice and relevant policies.
This role is a contract role for 12 months, with a possibility to extend for a longer tenure and will be based in the Sydney or Melbourne office (hybrid).
